Crafting party!!!

Hello There sunshines of someone's life!
My friends and I had a crafting party yesterday! yay! and fun fun fun.... I begged one of my friends to teach me how to bead and I'm hooked. lol so much more satisfying for crocheting in the beginning. I'm already making cute stuff at the beginning. I'll show you the cute SHINY ring I made. I'm also going to make a new SHINY bracelet.
In exchange I taught her how to crochet a strawberry but i didn't have green yarn at hand... whoops. and my aspiring artist-y friend made a request from the creepy cute crochet book. BTW Diane is holding her own booth at the Monrovia Art walk on Aug 27  go find her. won't be that hard her stuff is just so awesome.
Now to attend to my needy puppy dog. Tofu

Starting Off

Hey Bloggers and Blog reader,
but really it's probably just me talking to myself. it's okay though :P This blog page will mostly just be about daily life, me complaining, and crafting.
Today is the first day I worked with a vinyl material and lace. Like other careful minded crafters I researched a little about the materials before I put it through my 2nd generation machine. Apparently vinyl can slip.... I did not see that. I think it's because I used a lining calico fabric with it maybe that's it.
I was inspired by those cross body purses in the mall in shops like pacsun and forever 21. But 25 dollars is just too much for a SMALLER bag. Absolutely ridiculous.
So! I made one myself. maybe not as fashionable but I like simple, lace, and one of a kind pieces.  Take a look.

What's up squirrel friend!! Whoo. haha it's awesome and I'll be wearing this baby more often to the park, night market,and easy going outings.

Next up on my crafting list is some great lace back tops. also because of the appalling prices that just hurt my heart and wallet. -sigh-
